Forgotten Remedy is a Rock/Metal band from Woodbridge, Ontario formed by twin brothers Horatiu & Adrian Pantea, and Tom Robinson. Although originally the band was called BlyndSyde, it regrouped to define its musical direction and renamed itself Forgotten Remedy. Since the band’s formation in 2007, Forgotten Remedy has collaborated on many original works such as Shadows, Beneath My Skin, Fade Away, Say Goodbye, The Things I’ve Become and Until the End. They have just released their first EP called “Break Away”. The band’s inspiration for music comes from the heart – mainly because of their innate need to express the deep and more profound thoughts, feelings and emotions that have impacted their lives. Forgotten Remedy has three band members, Horatiu Pantea is the lead vocalist/Guitar, Adrian Pantea plays drums and Thomas Robinson is the Bassist. Plans are now underway to work on a full length album and more original music. Forgotten Remedy has played in several venues and continues to raise its musical profile through upcoming engagements.
Adrian and Horatiu have been avid supporters for universal education, clean water and HIV/AIDS awareness of children in Africa.Their humanitarian efforts in this direction are exemplified throughvarious fundraiser efforts for Stephen Lewis Foundation and Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund (Canada), as well as through their own organization, Students for Students in Africa which was set up with the help of Renuka de Silva, who is also their band manager.
